Established in 1962 and inaugurated by Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the then President of India and a luminary in Indian education, our university stands tall as a centre of higher learning in western Rajasthan. Over the decades, it has evolved into a dynamic hub of academic excellence, social responsibility, and transformative growth. Serving as a lifeline of education for five districts of Rajasthan, Jai Narain Vyas University today caters to the aspirations of over 20,000 in-house students, more than 1 lakh private students, and supports a vast network of 390+ affiliated colleges. This wide reach underscores our responsibility and our commitment to delivering inclusive, high-quality education across urban and rural regions alike. We offer a diverse array of academic programmes through our dedicated departments, specialized cells, and vibrant centres—spanning humanities, science, commerce, law, social sciences, engineering, and more. True to our vision of holistic education, we have adopted the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 in its true spirit, paving the way for a flexible, multidisciplinary, and skill-driven learning environment.
