About the Department:

The Department is engaged in teaching of undergraduate students of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Mining Engineering. The Department is running Post-graduate courses in Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering and Water Resources and Irrigation Engineering. Many students are registered for Ph.D. The Department is actively engaged in organizing Seminars/Conferences/Workshop at regular level. The departments is engaged in testing and consultancy in Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering and various other aspects of Civil Engineering. Many important design projects have been handled by the Department.

 

 

The Department of Civil is the oldest Department in the State of Rajasthan and is well-known for Geotechnical Testing and consultancy for Civil Engineering Projects.

Department of Civil Engineering has been regularly providing consultancy/ testing to very important departments of the Central & State Governments as well as to private organisations in the field of Soil, Environment and Water. These includes CPWD, Railways, MES, ONGC, PHED, RIICO, Irrigation, Rajasthan Rajya Vidhyut Vitran Nigam Ltd., etc.

 

 

Outstanding achievements of the Department

 

The Department of Civil is the oldest Department in the State of Rajasthan and is well-known for Geotechnical Testing and consultancy for Civil Engineering Projects.

 

 

This Department has earned maximum funds in the University through consultancy to various Government & Non-Government agencies.
